This is your invitation to join Tara, taking a deep and blissful exploration and communion with Mama Cacao. In this Cacao Practitioner training you will learn how to connect with this sacred plant medicine & some other plant allies in your own unique way, developing your gifts as a space holder and offering you the tools to facilitate workshops, ceremonies and private sessions. This course will enable you to weave with Mama Cacao into your life if you wish to explore for your own personal journey. The training can help to develop your offerings as a facilitator, healer, sound healer, yoga teacher, art therapist, breath worker, body worker, massage therapist, counsellor, psychotherapist and more.
This training will help you to develop authentic relationship with and way of working with Cacao that is uniquely yours. With purity of heart, intention and reciprocity she can bring beautiful healing, insights and transformation into our lives and those that we hold space for.

COURSE CONTENT & STRUCTURE
Over the 10 weeks you can explore the course in two lunar cycles, each module over a 2 week period which is in alignment with 5 lunar wavespells or in your own natural time. Working with this natural alignment is a potent container for receiving transmissions, connecting to our own internal rhythms as well as the cycles of time & natural law.

Contraindications
Please note that Ceremonial Cacao is contraindicated for those who are taking
anti-depressants, anti-psychotics or with heart conditions.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is safe, but we suggest working with half the suggested dose (20g or less).
What you will need to prepare
2 blocks/1kg Ceremonial Cacao (1kg is around 24 full doses)
Basic Ingredients: Chilli, Cinnamon, Coconut Palm Sugar, Coconut Nectar or Panela
Additional Plant Medicines: Rose petals, Mugwort herb & Lions Mane Powder (suggested supplier: Indigo Herbs)
Earth Offerings: Cacao beans, rose petals, tobacco, sage, mugwort, herbs, oats
Journal for writing notes, insights & dreams throughout the course
Altar space (This can be as elaborate as you like, or simple & portable for travel or small spaces)
Dedicated time of 3-4 hours per week, to digest the resources, time for ritual & personal practice. Allow more time if you wish to go deeper.
A NOTE ABOUT TAKING TIME:
The focus of this course is the dedication to self-care in order to open to receiving & allowing enjoyment, working within your schedule so no need to stress how to manage time!
If you are a Mother, Parent, or live a busy life, you can balance this integrating as part of your daily personal practice and listen to resources as you commute, walk the dog or wash the dishes.
Make sure you make space for yourself, dedicate time for the rituals/ceremonies as a “date with yourself and Mama Cacao”
Take one day each week or part of the day for digesting materials & taking time for ritual. Weekends are great for this.
One or two mornings or evenings could also be another way to weave it in
Sunday is often an excellent day for fasting &/or “switch-off” from communications, this is a practice widely encouraged in many traditions

Mama Cacao
Ix Cacao is a Master Plant Teacher, known as the "food of the gods" and has been used by Mayan, Aztec and Inca tribes for thousands of years for ceremonial purposes. As a potent healer, this medicine helps us to open our hearts, connect with our inner wisdom and creativity so that we can dissolve our blockages and create new pathways into being. Ix Cacao brings us grounding into our bodies and can help us open up to feeling and sensing more deeply. Mama Cacao is a very feminine and creative medicine so she will help us to explore in a soft yet powerful way.
IxCacao is a medicine that is experiencing a surge in popularity and for good reason, as in this modern world she can help us to become more grounded, centred, living more fully from our hearts and being. However, she is also a powerful healer and teacher for working through our shadow and trauma, as she works deep in the belly and psyche. Therefore, it is very important to honour her and develop right relationship prior to holding space for groups.
Tara
Tara is an Irish Woman, Cacaoista, Alchemist, Facilitator, Ceremonial guide & Somatic Bodyworker. Working in devotion with nature, plants and spirit to guide the return to source, truth & wholeness. Reclaiming the Rites of Passage through Birth, Life and Death that assist in our navigation as a human being with our soul’s evolution. Harnessing a deep connection to ancient wisdom through meditation, sound, movement & ritual, she brings this to the present, living in our busy modern world. Tara has a very special connection with Mama Cacao that she is passionate about sharing, and continues to be humbled by this loving, gentle yet powerful plant teacher.
Tara’s Cacao Story
My journey with Mama Cacao began in 2015 by being introduced in a Cacao ceremony with Annu Tara, followed by a Dieta and training in early 2016. Mama Cacao was a great healer and teacher for me that created a loving container while I was transitioning from a corporate career to the full time calling in being of service. I had been in training for many years, however I was connecting with Cacao for my own healing. She naturally flowed through my personal practice, rituals and ceremonies. I had not anticipated that I would be called to co-create with her as a Cacaoista! I am eternally grateful for the healing and teachings she has brought and a catalyst for me stepping forward into sharing Cacao Alchemy.
I have since facilitated many ceremonies across the world in many different contexts from yoga studios to conscious festivals, roof terraces to lakeside, retreats to homes. I deepened my relationship with her by connecting to the Mayan, Aztec and Incan lands. In Guatemala I received guidance from a Mayan Shaman and Keith, with one of the most potent & vibrational ceremonial cacao in the world.
My work with other plant medicines through training, initiations and dieta has only strengthened the path to allowing her teachings to come through me. It is through deep love, gratitude and passion for IxCacao that I wish to share this with others. It is with great honour that I am able to offer this container in a lovingly held and supported way, through a time of transition in humanity into greater harmony with nature.
