"Gutha" is the Old Irish word for "Mantra" and is considered an ancient language, very similar to Sanskrit. As such this will be an evening sharing in a similar spirit to Kirtan, yet much more connected to the roots of this Celtic Land. It is a great honour to bring these ancient and forgotten sounds to Belfast, Firetree is not a native Irish speaker, she has had the privilege of learning these Guthas from Native Irish speaker and Elder, Phyllida Anam-Aire and has received her blessing to share them.
“We will gather ( together) to give voice to the Celtic sounds throughout the spinal chord and thus enliven our sacred biology. When we do this , the land herself joins in harmony as do the other elements within and without. Please know, it is not about singing songs and getting it right!! Rather, it is about awakening the true memory of LOVE in the cells of our own bodies and in creation itself.” Phyllida Anam-Aire

Come with a sense of delight in the thought of joining with each other to invite the ancestors who are ready spiritually to heal with us. We will give thanks for our own spiritual evolution so far AND celebrate the ancestor in our own DNA.
As this work can work deep it is advised not to eat a heavy meal beforehand.
About Firetree
Firetree is a highly intuitive, dedicated medicine woman and earthkeeper who works predominantly with plants and energy healing to promote wholeness on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. Fully qualified as a Shamanic Practitioner, Reiki Practitioner, Thai Massage, Yoga Bodyworker, Forrest Yoga Teacher and Birthkeeper as well as receiving many initiations through plant medicine and Shamanic work.
Firetree began her journey with plants, animals, nature and spirit at an early age. Born & Grown in Northern Ireland, more recently living in Scotland, followed a calling to travel to Brazil, Peru and beyond to connect with Indigenous Elders and Plant Teachers, in a deeper search to reconnect with her own indigenous roots. She found her way back to Scotland and connecting with the “Celtic and Neolithic ways” even deeper than before and with the task to serve as a bridge between lands, traditions and worlds (ancient, modern and other). Firetree is very blessed to have the support of an Indigenous Irish Elder and native Old Irish Speaker, Phyllida Anam-Aire.
This particular path facilitates an accelerated approach to healing and ceremonial work. In this time of rapid change and the impact on the earth as well as its inhabitants, a new approach is needed that is infused with the great wisdom of these ancient traditions.
