Samhuinn/Halloween is the time where we are invited to go within and call upon the Cailleach or Wise Woman to connect to our ancient wisdom. We can use this opportunity to bring about the changes that are needed in our lives, the Death and Rebirth. This is the beginning of the Celtic New Year, the change of the season to Winter, we will work with the Cailleach, the Crone. The Celtic Goddess is known in much folklore across Ireland, Scotland, the British Isles and Western Europe. She is the ancient one who calls us to go within, this is the time of year where the veils become thin and the whispers of our ancestors are easier to hear. She is the ancient midwife that can help us in the passing of the old and the birthing of the new within us. She can help us in clearing our wombs, blood and bones, letting go of karmic imprints from our past, our ancestors and our psyche. Awakening the wisdom that we carry within our DNA as woman.

We will work with Sound, Breath and Movement to move our blood and bones. This will include a Mugwort Ceremony to help us to connect to the witches and our own ancient wisdom. Mugwort is known as the “witches herb” helping us to open our third eye to visioning and dreaming, psychic protection as well as regulating menstrual or menopausal symptoms. There will also be a time for some radical self-care with a long "Savasana" style letting go for integration.

This Ceremony is for women born or identified. Non-binary who menstruate or have menstruate are welcome. Mugwort is not suitable for women who are pregnant, if you are pregnant please get in touch before booking.

"It is our birthright as women to honour our bodies, our wombs, our cycles as we are inherently linked with the earth and the moon, bringing us back to wholeness with each breath" Firetree

Rage and Anger are greatly misunderstood and it is often discouraged from being expressed. The fiery nature and all-consuming effect on our psyche often means that we refrain from meeting it fully in our lives. In our society and in our upbringing it is discouraged to express and it is so consuming that we learn to fear or suppress it. When we are triggered it can come out in weird ways through resentment, passive aggression, angry “outbursts” or even a fury of rage. It builds pressure in our bodies through years of suppression which can manifest itself by becoming a destructive force in our lives, relationships and mental, physical or emotional health.

When we honour our Anger, Rage and Grief and allow it to be expressed in a safe and healthy way, this allows us to tap into the great wisdom and power that is underneath it. This can be vital for Womens health and wellbeing as it can help to relieve depression and anxiety as well as a number of physical conditions including migraines, fatigue, liver conditions, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, pre-menstrual and menopausal symptoms and more.

Through the sacred ceremonial space, plant spirit medicine and connection of women in circle, we can tap in deeply into our internal mystery and connection with our bodies, ancestors and Mother Earth. Many of us carry the wounding and unprocessed anger or rage from our own lives, ancestral lineage, the collective feminine as well as Mother Earth. We will use the tools of breath, sound, drumming and movement to connect to our primal nature, our feminine essence and with the root of our Rage and Grief, allowing it to move through us.

This Sacred Ceremony is a very powerful container for you to meet with and step fully into your truth, your own power and develop a healthy relationship with your emotions. You can feel empowered to develop healthy boundaries, finding the discernment between your true “Yes” and “No” with yourself and with others. The benefits of releasing what has been carried for so long can bring great relief, feeling much lighter and able to embrace life more fully, with more joy and appreciation.
