As life moves at a fast pace with the abundance of Summer, this ceremony provides an opportunity to move into stillness. By moving away from the chaos around us we will focus on harnessing the fire within to bring deep insights, stillness and self-love. Cacao is a great facilitator that allows for our hearts to expand and allow what we have to offer to the world to shine.

We will also celebrate the beginning of the harvest season, Lammas or Lughnasadh by giving gratitude for the abundance of summer and allow us time to reflect on what we would like to harvest for the next season.

This ceremony will make use of heart opening intention, chakra toning, breathwork, journeying, shamanic drumming, sound and radical resting.

About the medicine
Mama Cacao is a potent healer, this medicine helps us to connect with our inner wisdom, healing and creativity so that we can dissolve our own blockages and create new pathways into being. Cacao is particularly helpful for heart activation, opening up the channels, softening the mind and grounding us into our body, heart and hara.

Cacao is likely to make you feel more aware from the inside in a gentle, loving way. This is due to the effects of the many stimulating, warming and feel good natural chemicals it contains. It is recommended that you have a restful evening after the ceremony.

Preparation for the Ceremony
To prepare the physical body some preparation and cleansing is recommended and full details will be sent in advance. This will mostly involve refraining from dairy, alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours.
